Creamy Ground Beef Bowtie Pasta (Easy 30 Minute Dinner)

This recipe has quickly become a family favorite in our house. It’s officially part of the regular supper rotation – the kind of meal everyone is happy about when it shows up on the table.

What I love most (besides how good it tastes) is how simple it is. This is my go-to for nights when I don’t have a supper plan and don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I can defrost the burger, chop up the onion/garlic, and have this entire meal finished in no longer than 30 minutes.

It’s creamy, comforting, and made with real ingredients – which makes it feel both cozy and practical at the same time.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Ready in about 30 minutes

  • One-pan dinner

  • Family-friendly

  • Easy to make with beef or venison

  • Creamy without canned soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef (or ground venison)

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 tsp minced garlic (about 2 cloves)

  • salt to taste

  • pepper to taste

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 3 cups of beef broth

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 1 (12oz) box farfalle pasta (I use Jovial)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, brown the ground beef, diced onions, and minced garlic over medium heat until no longer pink. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Constantly stir to break up the beef into a crumble.

  2. Stir in the beef broth, cream, and pasta. Bring it to a boil and then lower the heat to a simmer.

  3. Cover the skillet and simmer the pasta for 10-12 minutes until done, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

  4. Uncover and cook an additional 1-2 minutes if you want a little more liquid absorbed.

  5. Optional: Remove from heat and top with shredded cheddar cheese. Enjoy!

This is one of those dependable, easy dinners that saves the evening when nothing is planned. Simple ingredients, one pan, minimal cleanup – and a meal that feels comforting without being complicated.

It’s proof that supper doesn’t have to be fancy to be really good.
